  1. ahhh you are teasing us - could you upload to photobucket or an equivalent as I dont have a faceparty account (I know such a luddite!!!)
  2. Was on another forum and this topic came up apparently part synth is different to semi synth as it is a mixture of fully synth and some semi synth
  3. Wotcha and welcome
  4. This is Castrols own recommendations Edge fully synth 5W-40 or Magnatec 10W-40 A3/B4 http://www.castrol.com/castrol/sectionbodycopy.do?categoryId=9024084&contentId=7073092 Magnatec 10W-40 A3/B4 is part synth You should have no problems with it - as long as the oil meets the recognised standards like API or JASO etc and is the recommended weight it will be fine
  5. that really sets the front end off - breaks up the silver nicely
  6. Had some money spent on it thats for sure - are you tempted??
  7. certainly looking like it will do the job now, no problem at all!
  8. Knew a chap years ago had a bearing collapse on him when he got to Newbury, he continued on to Portsmouth. The bearing welded itself to the hub and we could not get the remains off - in the end he had to replace the hub as well as the bearing
  9. jeez that's really good mine has 5 with 28k and its an 08
  10. 10W- 40 will be fine - just make sure it has a JASO or API approved on it
  11. that would be useful
  12. ditto Gambits advice I would go with fully synthetic for your car
  13. clear here at the moment so...put engine back in frame of bike (6 speed gearbox transplant) clean the spark plugs on the crossers get them ready for an outing and then wash the car
  14. Not as expensive as Honda or Toyota about the same as Mazda, slightly more than Nissan for the bits I have looked at so far
  15. You can get the DPF cleaned as it sounds like you have done before then use an additive to ensure it doesn't block up again, I had the same issue with my turbo diesel van - cured with BG products now I use the BG additive in the diesel every time I fill up, that cost was 300 euros including a service plus the cost of the bottle of additive (about 12 euros) You can get the DPF removed completely here in UK but I don't know how the Spanish emission laws differ and if you can have it done there. Here is just one example http://abchiptuning.co.uk/services/dpf-removal
  16. he strikes me more of a Bovril user
  17. there is a reason for that - tolerances are not as tight as they used to be its all going a bit slack, a little fluid leakage here and there and the undercarriage has something as yet unidentified attached, don't know if its rust, rot or mange
  18. throw in a fish supper + bottle of newkie brown - sorted ;)
