  1. rock on, cheers lad
  2. cheers :D
  3. Hard to tell, depends who mapped it, if they were any good and also whats changed since it was mapped.
  4. 10:1 is pretty rich. 11:1 is more like where i'd expect it to be on full chat. idle/off boost 13:1 ignore the initial wabble, was the ecu struggling to cope
  5. not gonna be a cheap fix by the looks of it.
  6. Look like its been bodge repaired and the repair has failed. New exhaust time i'd say ;)

    Dealer Woes

pretty crap that. would at least expect them to clean up al the oil in the bay given its their fault its there
  8. Ah fair enough, will be alot easier to sell as a running car then non runner with no mot.
  9. welcome, does look tidy
  10. Welcome. Not too far from me :) Not a million miles from scoobyclinic up at chesterfield, sure they could help out. They deal with an indy recovery driver so can get it picked up if needs be as well.
  11. You can do some machining, not sure how much you can get away with
  12. are the castings ok? can they be machined?
  13. could be shift light? ask your mapper
  14. typicly have to do some cutting, i wouldn't worry too much about it
  15. I;ve never been very keen with the wheels on my type R, i have an old set in the garage that need a refurb. can someone photoshop them onto it? then a few different colour options? thinking maybe either black, gunmetal or maybe bronze? Wheels, Kei Force 8 if someone can find a better picture and the type R
  16. my old one went from this, to this, to this finaly to this,
  17. Onto of the engine is a bad place to have something trying to cool air. once driving airflow is limited by the size of the scoop so not ideal then. Simply put front mount is better for performance.

  19. 04 sti im assuming
  20. schweet. got any mods planned?
  21. welcome. get some pics up :)
  22. Yep, also way beyond the capability of most drivers. it's very easy to say i want X power, but its a very different thing to have it and pay for it. your talking £1500 for the turbo, £2000 for the ecu and thats only two things, full engine rebuild for it will mean rods, pistons, head studs, crank bearings, fuel system upgrade, etc etc etc
  23. find a decent tuner, give them your keys and your wallet and leave it with em,,,,, lol 500bhp is alot of power so will need to have a very good spec to get it there. Full custom engine build etc, prob nocking on 20k+
