  1. So still up on the bay, but price is down to 4750. Advert is the same with the 'economical' truth on how bad the damage is.
  2. You'll get away with a small turbo upgrade, but sc42 will be too much for the stock engine. much more than a 36 an your gonna need to have the engine rebuilt. How far you go really depends on budget, my goal is a reliable 500bhp so i've got a closed deck converted 2.5, forged pistons, uprated rods, acl bearings, arp headstuds and supertech valve kit in refurbed v5 heads along witha boat load of supporting mods like FMIC, syvecs etc
  3. Dad didn't notice any difference between his 2015 and 2017, although that's petrol
  4. will be main engine build i expect.
  5. i've run oil coolers on my past few cars, just make sure its thermostatically controlled
  6. sweet, glad it was an easy fix
  7. Check your contract paperwork mate, there is normally a bit about reasonable wear and tear which that would be covered by.
  8. are you sure its andy forrest your talking about, hes 400+ miles north of you in scotland.
  9. wont be andy forrest, he doesn't travel for mapping any more. Scoobyclinic do all my work, ;)
  10. really? I'd have argued acceptable wear and tear unless there was anything major wrong.
  11. ah fair enough, i know they cut back on what they did when they sold their dyno.
  12. I use clinic all the time, wouldn't go anywhere else. Do scoobyworld still do anything bar mail order any more?
  13. Whats the condition of your radiator? when did it last have a coolant change? are the fans kicking in when it gets hot? If the water temps are getting that hot i dread to think whats going on with your oil temps, might be worth looking at an oil cooler kit, should help keep the general temps down as well.
  14. lol, good good, last thing i wanna see is a post saying engine gone bang and asking why.
  15. Don't boost it till its remapped, you wont know what the AFR's are doing and could melt the engine before you know it.
  16. Don't bother with the boost controller, just control it with the ecu.
  17. Tidgy

go look for borough pat hahaha
  18. You can buy most off the shelf, but unless you know what your doing with them i'd just get a pro to fit one, they are wired in all over the place.
  19. If they were bedded in originally then when they went back in they were rotated they would not be align properly. For the cost of a set of rings im amazed they didnt replace them given its not huge money.
