  1. Upselling I like your style ! What's the difference between my ic and the sti one, apart from the pipework ? I have a feeling if I were to buy them he'd sit gathering dust for ages before I got mapped. Any idea what my 380's will max out at ?
  2. Stop it ! Plan is to do the pump, get a new gearbox mount then hopefully map. How much are you wanting for them ? [emoji51]
  3. Yeah I'm just doing some last minute shopping when I get back to office I'll give them bell, roll on stage 0.5 tune whoop !
  4. Cheers mate, did the sock come with the pump ? Tried to buy one of their pumps yeaterday but the website fell over [emoji35]
  5. Right thinking of doing this myself, how hard can it be ? My main questions are do I have to drain the tank completely ? Along with disconnecting the battery should I pull the relays out ? Lift the rear bench out and then open inspection hatch remove old pump switch out reverse the process and prime ?
  6. Hi, I don't know where to start, maybe a bad earth or one bulb giving a faulty voltage or something wrong with the switch ?
  7. I wasn't having a go either you just expect to pay top rate due to the technicians etc. I've not got a bad word to say about my local subaru, nothing but help even when I go in asking for that bolt that goes in the hole over there, and with it being an import most dealers don't want to know. One of the best main dealers I've delt with, having a 17 year old car that has no warranty I go to an in dependant subaru specialist who looks after a number of cars,
  8. 20 quid to add my exhaust lol
  9. Not entirely sure to be honest, all depends, what was yours as standard 220 bhp ? Think yours has Td04 turbo and 440cc injectors stock so theoretical figures up to about 270 before things start to run out of puff. Don't hold me to these I'm just giving ballpark max extractable figures from the turbo.
  10. You will get a slight increase in noise etc if you went for the soild cusco mounts
  11. Have you just cut round the bin and fridges there ? [emoji3]
  12. A few members have had problems with the walbro pumps seems that the quality has gone downhill in the Last couple of years, the roger clark motorsport ones have been recommended before along with scoobyworx pumps. The maff sensor doesn't get on with oiled filters like the k&n ones so maybe a dry drop in one may be better, there are loads of induction kits around but I'd stick with the standard air box if your not after big bhp gains, the heat generated in the engine bay is going to cancel out the benefits of a cone filter in my opinion, I've been told to either mod the intake side or the exhaust side but not both if you don't plan on getting a map straight away as it messes up the fueling too much, how true this is I don't know but I'm not planning on trying just incase, I ended up going sports cat and ss exhaust system as the previous one was rotting away, I haven't seen any over boost issues that may occur if you delete the cats without a map but I do know mine runs a little rich due to not being mapped yet, if yours is a My99 car onwards there's ecutek software and others available for you. Duncan from racedynamix comes highly recommended for mapping, I'm sure a few more members from down your way will be able to ad a few more names, So I'd go either exhaust or intake mods, fuel pump, then if you want to change the other bit you've not done, do it on the day of mapping then of it is running funny you won't cause too many issues
  13. I'd say cat back exhaust panel filter uprated fuel pump and mapping be around a grand all in, where abouts are you ? Least you've the bigger brakes ticks one upgrade off the list
  14. I like the way you get hardly any lag and it gives a linear boost on my car anyway, I'm finding a bit of oil in the turbo to ic pipe, I guess a little bit is normal ? I've no idea how long that turbos been on the car but it doesn't smoke or any weird noises and pulls hard. So if needs be I'll just replace it with the same
  15. Hi mate, wouldn't like to say may be worth looking at breakers as main dealer prices will make you eyes water !
  16. This is my problem, the engines on somewhere between 125-140k so don't want to get a new turbo or map then it let go. The misses wants some new !Removed! as the baby's been hanging off them for 6 months. That's my bartering tool anyway. Not looking for big power just a smoother and more responsive running car, maybe around 260ish ?
  17. Gearbox oil Rear diff oil Try opie oils, trader on here they'll knock up a service kit for you or just give you an idea of what kind of viscosity oils to use.
  18. [emoji16] I just didn't want to incriminate anyone
  19. Good for 300 I've been told get the goodness of a Td04 spool with a little more power
  20. Still be close to the pass threshold with a sports cat, mine wasn't hot enough this time and failed. Que a quick rag down the motorway and back and re test [emoji16]
  21. Boofle gem on here may have I'm not sure and haven't seen her since sept, may be worth sending her a private message
  22. Unequal headers will give you the boxer sound, weather it's worth the 360 that's up to you, personally I wouldn't but it's not my car
  23. Have a look see if all the clips &shims are on maybe a pad moving ?
  24. I'd check the brake disk shield, Mine scuffed loads when I turned right and made a racket, when it was on ramps you could spin the wheel and nothing, as soon as there was any load it would make a sound, i got a flat head screw driver and just prised the edge away from the disk no more noise, just been replaced by a squeal on the other side
  25. Obvious taking the **** ! Only time I use the dealer for is little bits that I can't get off the Web, has the car got any history of the clutch being changed ?maybe they looked up the history and thought they'd try their luck with the new owner ?
