What year is it ? If pre 2000 there's two self test diagnostic wires like this

Or if it's later than 2000 it will have an odb2 port just in front of your knee as you sit down in the seat below the steering wheel,
Just to confuse matters older cars also have a hole there but it's for the subaru select monitor which is a dealer only diagnostic tool
Wow that's a lot of pipe work to have managed to get rid off what's the spool like now ?
You still got the same exhaust on as last year ? If so that and the chatter = one evil sounding car [emoji16]
N/a cars are pretty much bulletproof and as long as serviced accordingly should go on for ages,
And no they aren't turbo ready,
Cheaper to buy a turbo when the time comes as it's a totally different set up, engine, box, electronics etc
Hello & welcome@matt is your best man for wagon advice, I presume they are identical maybe some slightly stiffer springs to cope with the slight weight increase
Whoop sounds like good news, was reading the other day the new ones aren't selling that well [emoji22]
Probibally due to the fact you can follow the rest of the sheep and get an s3 or golf r on pch for less than a wrx
Happy days,
What calipers does she have on it 2 or 4 pots at the front?
You'll find that the same year uk model legacy or possibly forester & impreza will more than likely use the same
To be honest, I'd go for an esl board, apexi are getting a bit long in the tooth, and there's hardly any user support these days,
Esl offer a whole host of extras on thier stuff. Jay's just been on one of thier mappong courses.
For a totally un biased view of both speak to @savagebulldogs as he's run both at some point on his cars
Is it like a dusting ?
My dad had a similar problem on his mondeo, went into bodyshop for some dent/paintwork done on the lower o/s door all looked fine but after the car was washed it left a permanent coat of dusting on parts, we think it was because the paint hadn't gone off properly before washing
Changed knock sensor, fitted catch can, snapped off the return pipe on the turbo intake 😢
Makeshift fix (thanks again @savagebulldogs )
Need to order a couple of little bits to make good again !
Usually use the attch plugs method,
Don't forget to order a new gasket for icv at the same time, and you need to mark the exact location of the position of the sensor before removing it as if it goes back differently will run even worse

53 doesn't look like a fueling issue, could be wrong as it brings up 4 possibilities for a 53 code
