  1. Thats what I thought but would they be that much soot from a car thats done I quote no more than 40 miles ? But for arguments sake would it be like that after 200 miles And it still has the rubber hose on one picture that you can see they didn't even remove the clip to take it off just cut it. Which also made me wonder but I did think it might have been from when it was tested and they just cut it knowing the rest is getting broken down.
  2. Anyway way you could record the noise get a mate to try with a phone ?
  3. Sorry I can't help with that, hopefully someone around the Manchester area might be able too have a few members from there
  4. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And I'm really liking the car's guys got a nice few members with them :) Which is good to see.
  5. I rang them yesterday to moan because on the side it says 40050 which I thought might be the mileage but they said its the stock number. And no its meant to be brand new he said they had 5 that was on its way too Honda mainstealers when the lorry they was on crashed. Honda then refused them so the insurance company sold them on who I bought it from. -_-
  6. Just point out it's meant to be less than 200 miles blike said it would be more like 10 to 40 miles but I just said less than 200 :) And I agree the carbon/soot is a lot the hose clips are rusted dust/dirt all over it. And I know Pommy this is the problem I'm facing now I could have got another one that had 42K on it for £1280 But was told this is new so got this one now don't know the full milage on it but I'm pretty sure it's not done less miles from what they have told me.
  7. Yeah you will get noise clunking is the most common one. Not sure if anyone else has a way of testing there diffs.
  8. They do tend to move a bit I wouldn't be to worried as long as there is no vibrations at speed from the car as that could mean a worn inner cv joint and no knocking or clicking on slow turns as that would mean the outer cv joint could be worn :)
  9. Right long story short I was hunting for a Honda CRV engine 2.2 for a 07 plate. I tried many places as I like to shop around and came across this place that said they have one brand new engine in £1840 delivered said it had been tested done less than 200 miles in test. So would any of you agree with me this has done more than 200 miles
  10. Not 100% sure mate I don't even know what my car takes I always go into the car places with the bulb in my hand scratching my head. And just hand it over asking for one of them :) But Opieoils might be able to help they have a sale on :) http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/5537-osram-and-philips-bulbs-now-available-at-opie-oils/
  11. I live near the A180. It doesn't matter what you have in the car that road has to be the worst for road noise and boring in the UK. Luckily the only town it leads too is Grimsby. Not sure if it was done on purpose I still think the roads the same from when the Viking was here :D
  12. Nope had Fords BMW's Evo's before I bought the Scoob and never looked back but was one of the 1st thing's I found bad with them. But had no other car make me smile when driving like it does, so I excuse the poor stereo equipment, and upgraded them straight away :D
  13. It's a bit like the Maf Symptoms. No easy way to fix it other than process of elimination :(
  14. Nice one mate glad it's been sorted.
  15. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C We're still filling up places for most area's :( unfortunately but always looking to for more to cover all areas and get joint area meets going :)

  17. Can't grumble at that small enough to spray too without making the colour look wrong.
  18. I'd check what Tlag said but I would also take the pads out and check for a sticking piston on the calipers or if you have lost any of the back plate on the brakes that might be letting the pads move around more :)
  19. :( Ouch I'd be taking it out of someones easter egg money I've thought about putting the spats on I like them just add a small touch to the look of the rear.
