  1. Rear ARB for me it depends on thickness you want as all brands might not have options but I would have no issue with whiteline if available Coilovers - Money no option I would be talking about Nitron fully adjustable with remote gas reservoir - Talk to RCM as sole UK supplier
  2. I did I.A.W. the instructions from prosport
  3. Check out Area 52, they are in your part of the world and are familiar with Subarus
  4. Moved to the For sale section - Ideal for a set of winter tyres, GLWTS
  5. Looking good and always good to hear about great service
  6. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to share pics and gets stuck in all friendly on here
  7. The prices these days seem to be all over the place, for the last year they have rocketed but now seem to be on the decline. I have seen fully forged hatches going for 15K privately but we buy any car paying out 7-8k for similar spec models. I would say it depends on how fast you want to sell the car so probably between 6k-8k
  8. You will starting a project thread next - it is a slippery slope
  9. I did search for discount codes which reduced it quite a bit - 15% off. ONe thing that does appeal about the use of Michelins is, allegedly, the grip is the same even down to the minimum tread depth. Given your motor and location I think replacing the Bridgestones with all season alternatives is a good idea 👍
  10. Just fitted mine with Crossclimate 2's - Alpin 5's were recommended by others but I went for an all season as actual snow is normally for a couple of days / weeks only more wet and cold and I have been impressed with the crossclimates in the past. Went for the OEM Subaru tyre size of 245 / 40/ 18. Will post feedback as I put some miles on them Cost was £520 fitted
  11. Working on my 2008 models I have not had an issue with disconnecting the battery and having to resync the fobs
  12. I use this site to confirm your existing wheel pcd, offset and centre bore then you can look at other models for the same fitment. https://www.wheel-size.com/size/subaru/ I investigated a set of steel wheels for winter tyres but by the time I had costed some that would clear the calipers it was cheaper to source a 2nd had set of alloys with minor kerbing so woudlnt be too upset with catching them occasionally. What then happened was "do we have to put those shabby wheels on the car?" Wheels are currently being refurbed and will be fitted with Michelin cross climate2's I went for those as they are not a 100% winter tyre so can deal with snow and rain we get more on by me and I was impressed by the original cross climates I had on a car before. I also considered the continental option as have driven on those and they are good buuuuut Blackcircles had an offer on the michelins. https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre/Michelin/CrossClimate-2.htm
  13. A rear subframe new bolt kit is circa £100 - looked into it as part of my Impreza build
  14. Wotcha and welcome Is this what you are looking for?? https://www.1stsubaruparts.com/oem-parts/subaru-lateral-arm-and-ball-joint-assembly-20250fg021?c=Zz1yZWFyLXN1c3BlbnNpb24mcz1yZWFyLXN1c3BlbnNpb24mbD0xNCZuPUFzc2VtYmxpZXMgUGFnZSZhPXN1YmFydSZvPWZvcmVzdGVyJnk9MjAxMCZ0PXgtcHJlbWl1bSZlPTItNWwtaDQtZ2Fz If so ICP have them in stock https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=10920&cat=96&sub=457&sec=458&var=38&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart= Or as an alternative I had mine blasted, to remove the rust, then I painted them replacing the bush with a poly aftermarket item
  15. I went for the frame type purely for the blade on the mount to keep the wiper rubber on the screen at motorway speeds but I know a taxi driver who has the non frame type working well on a Ford
  16. This discount code is for **** - site doesn't work and have phoned twice now - currently on the phone with some moron who A: is disputing the tyre size I want because it is not in the database and B: Is saying (even though he hasn't taken the code) that is can only be used in retail stores

    🤬🤬😤

Definitely not the card, it was following the link on the special offer banner for discounted tyres that appeared at the top of the forum screen expired end of October

  17. Wotcha and welcome. I always do a full service, gearbox and diff fluids plus spark plugs and a mini detail. That way I know a starting point for mechanical service and can check for sparkly oil contents and doing the mini detail (jet wash, snow foam, rinse, hand wash, dry, clay bar, polish and or wax) means I go over the car front to back and you get a good look over the body work, tyres etc. I also replace windscreen wipers with PIAA items but that is a safety thing as they give improved visibility in the rain
  18. Just seen this and must apologise for not getting back. Where did you go in the end?
  19. If your car was running fine I would continue to use the superunleaded 👍 E5 not E10 and some of them, eg Shell, have cleaners in them
  20. Wotcha and welcome, feel free to post photos, get stuck in - all friendly on here
