there is enough cable still there to solder connections - or is a pin / terminal transplant possible from your existing plug?

Might be a loose connection, how comfortable are you with a multimeter?

Wotcha and welcome - That is low mileage for a steering rack, has it been driven with a vibration coming through to the wheel or has it been damaged by impact? You may be able to save some money by sourcing a used rack

Wow - not heard of that before, however I would suggest you friend disconnects the plugs at the rear of the light itself inspect for damage there and see if the shocks still happen. They could also try touch earthing themselves to the car body before they get in the car as it may be static but that is a long shot. Not quite sure how it would be getting a shock through the wheel - is there exposed metal??

Ahhh I see - Tein option seems to get really good feedback at the moment, lots of people fitting their product. I have Cusco myself and they are also very good. The whiteline stuff can suffer from a looks perspective, I had some bracing bars powder coated to avoid that for a bit longer and match the Perrin ARB's already fitted. Whiteline currently have an offer on so present very good value

As long as you retain the rolling radius of the tyre and wheel combination when going for a smaller rim the speedo will be fine This site shows the differences in the tyre size / rolling radius etc and allows you to compare different tyre sizes to you standard - also gives speedo error https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

Rear ARB for me it depends on thickness you want as all brands might not have options but I would have no issue with whiteline if available Coilovers - Money no option I would be talking about Nitron fully adjustable with remote gas reservoir - Talk to RCM as sole UK supplier

The prices these days seem to be all over the place, for the last year they have rocketed but now seem to be on the decline. I have seen fully forged hatches going for 15K privately but we buy any car paying out 7-8k for similar spec models. I would say it depends on how fast you want to sell the car so probably between 6k-8k

I did search for discount codes which reduced it quite a bit - 15% off. ONe thing that does appeal about the use of Michelins is, allegedly, the grip is the same even down to the minimum tread depth. Given your motor and location I think replacing the Bridgestones with all season alternatives is a good idea 👍

Just fitted mine with Crossclimate 2's - Alpin 5's were recommended by others but I went for an all season as actual snow is normally for a couple of days / weeks only more wet and cold and I have been impressed with the crossclimates in the past. Went for the OEM Subaru tyre size of 245 / 40/ 18. Will post feedback as I put some miles on them Cost was £520 fitted

I use this site to confirm your existing wheel pcd, offset and centre bore then you can look at other models for the same fitment. https://www.wheel-size.com/size/subaru/ I investigated a set of steel wheels for winter tyres but by the time I had costed some that would clear the calipers it was cheaper to source a 2nd had set of alloys with minor kerbing so woudlnt be too upset with catching them occasionally. What then happened was "do we have to put those shabby wheels on the car?" Wheels are currently being refurbed and will be fitted with Michelin cross climate2's I went for those as they are not a 100% winter tyre so can deal with snow and rain we get more on by me and I was impressed by the original cross climates I had on a car before. If your car was running fine I would continue to use the superunleaded 👍 E5 not E10 and some of them, eg Shell, have cleaners in them
