  1. I am not so sure about the residuals theory - Whilst Subaru's market share has indeed declined the price some of the models are fetching has shot up in the last 3 years. WR1's for over 20K these used to be between 6-11k P1''s 20-30K used to be between 7-12 Type R's again 20K used to be 5-9k What I would say is pay what you are happy paying for the model you want. If you are not happy paying what the dealer wants - dont pay it, particularly if you are waving cash under their noses.
  2. Wotcha and welcome - Is it the whole car you are looking for or just the turbo for a wrx?
  3. I thought yours would be the HID setup for dipped main beam not LED? I use these guys and have gone with the 20Twenty LED product for a coupel of years now, found the higher brightness halogens were genrating a lot of heat and a slight voltage fluctuation caused them to blow https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/subaru-impreza-saloon-hid-xenon-2014-2015-64.html
  4. Thanks for sharing, let us know how you get on with Subaru as that is a pretty poor show for such a new model
  5. Import Car Parts are good for general spares and supply Fuji Racing products Roger Clark Motorsport is just pure filth Tarmaz Sportz have a lot of Perrin stuff Advocult have Radium parts Anything in particular you are looking for?
  6. Wotcha and welcome - That is quite the motor you are looking at, keep us posted and feel free to share photos 😍 Look for usual stuff, service history etc. Also check for clunks from the front suspension when reversing slowly and stopping or driving forward slowly and stopping - That will be the top hats Rear arches have a lip that dirt / mud sits on so rust can start there. Dirt can also sit inside the rear of the sills so have a good prod around the lower front of the arch, rear jacking point. The panels are thin, run your hand over the roof and feel for small dents - if it has been parked under a tree things dropped can do minor damage. Same if someone has lent against the rear quarter by the rear window that can be pushed in - easy fix but you need to get the interior panels off. Interior trim paint is thin so switch panels in the door cards and where you close the door can be knocked about - again only cosmetic but its a haggling point. driver door panel arm rest bit to the rear can be loose if someone has lent too hard on it and broken the plastic mount underneath
  7. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to share photos etc all friendly on here. Not sure about your washer, not had the same issue on my impreza
  8. No I used the catback for a WRX - it is the same layout with single exit you just need a different mesh ring for the seal You will need a 60mm ring not a 66mmm that comes with the exhaust
  9. Those are some nice figures 👍
  10. Yes I saw the same when my RX needed an exhaust - Went for the cobra stainless cat back, lifetime guarantee and a lot cheaper
  11. Seems to be a regular thing at the moment, buddy of mine locally has just had his done, usual story when they started getting in behind the paint it had gone up past the replacement sill line so they were into fabrication
  12. Check the condition of the flywheel when you take it apart - If in good condition just pay to get it skimmed and then reuse but you will not know until you take it apart.
  13. Got in behind the dash to tidy up wiring and make it easier to route the loom for the additional injectors Next ill get onto a peg board for the injector loom...
  14. A small update - Engineering work completed on the blocks and heads by AS Performance Heads, ported, polished, flow tested & 3 angle cut Blocks, resleeved and CDB conversion
  15. Winter wheels refurbed and Crossclimate 2's fitted - now on for the next few months. Initial thoughts are really positive, took a bit of getting used to as they are so soft you can feel the blocks moving but worked well in wet and cold... bring on the snow 🙂
  16. Replaced cracked fog light Flyeye wrap to match the other unit
  17. Some minor maintenance - Aircon did not hold pressure, turns out the condenser was leaking Leak Replaced the seals with nitron alternatives Replacement unit Fitted When it was regassed I made sure they put dye in as well so I can find any future leaks with a UV light
  18. could do or if you have a heat gun I have found these solder joints work really well
  19. seen mixed feedback on this - no change to the engine but sti bits added to body, I think you will have something as special with the way you are going with your own motor
