  1. Wotcha and welcome
  2. Thought there was a video posted ages ago about classic speaker changes - Nothing in the How to section?
  3. Wotcha and welcome - yup cosworth is a real icon
  4. Ended up renewing with Hastings today but they would not issue a policy with the wheel spacers on the vehicle - wider tyres and wheels are fine but spacers no - I did get the impression this was a bit of 'computer says no'. I did however speak with Adrian Flux and received very good customer service but whilst they would include the wheel spacers on the policy the additional drivers I needed pushed the policy up £150 over Hastings quote. So now I need to shop for some alloys that will sit 20mm wider than the standard Scooby items
  5. Got a gen Subaru one on my impreza - on the last hatch we had the area gets caught really easily and now with dog that jumps in and out of boot it was a must have.
  6. Wotcha and welcome - cracking motor
  7. Removed mine on the hatch with no issue at all - did consider getting some gold sticky back stuff from the evil bay as a bling alternative but thought it was more noise than heat so didnt bother in end What I also found was it retained water and the bolts holding the scoop on had rusted because of it
  8. Wotcha and welcome - check out the regional threads and show info for where the forum will be attending then feel free to get stuck in
  9. I dont blame you
  10. MOT sorted today - no advisories
  11. Wotcha and welcome
  12. Wotcha and welcome - A black 340r already with spoiler fitted, I see nothing but boredom and disappointed ahead.... NOT
  13. Hi

Wotcha and welcome - As above plus running without a MAF means the engine is hard to map at lower revs and off boost meaning it can run rich obviously impacting fuel economy. If you are looking for a daily driver don't rush to remove the MAF as you are not going to be on boost all the time. If you are looking at running a significant amount of pressure above standard you will need to change the MAP to one appropriate to the expected target boost pressure
  14. Thanks for the update - particularly useful info confirming the use of fuel that doesn't contain bio diesel with the Subaru diesel lump
  15. Nice one - good luck with the sale

Is it not covered in the manual? With that size you are looking at something that draws a fair bit of current. If it was me I would pull it then try starting the car
  17. nightmare - doesn't rain but pours... It may not apply to your policy but check the amount of windscreen claims you can have before any NCD is impacted - know someone who got caught out with that before had x2 in 2 years came to renew and discovered the NCD had been lost. Been paranoid about it myself since.
  18. Yes - that is what I ran my STI on and you could tell a difference, I think the chap who had it before us was running it on 95 ron, halfway through the first full tank of vPower and it showed, better throttle response as well as improved mpg
  19. What are the size details PCD, offset etc chum?
  20. I am so going to have to own a 300zx at some point - loved my 200sx but could not run to the 300 at the time but then again I have always hankered after an R33... come on euromillions
  21. Wotcha and welcome - keep us posted on your progress
  22. Wotcha and welcome - as above plus any visible wheel damage that may point to a serious kerbing and a bent rod?
