  1. sorry cant help you on the classic - Savage or one of the others will be able to put you in right direction Im sure
  2. if its official PPP it should have had the map sorted as part of it and the parameters would have been changed so surprised it failed
  3. Sounds electrical - What about the immobiliser - could that have gone faulty? Also have you checked for a spark?
  4. Several people have had it done under warranty but it did depend on service history being complete etc - did he have the ECU update completed?

  7. As you were rear ended check the petrol pump is working - the connection may have been jarred loose?

  9. Nightmare - the only positive thing I can think of to say is that, as with Ash and his lump, once it is sorted you know you now have a good solid point from which to keep maintaining and have peace of mind. sorry its going be a bit of a poo sandwich in the interim :(

    Wotcha and welcome - that is a clean looking GX, only thing that I would have to sort is getting the wheels balanced using stick on weights on the inside out of sight, those hammer on ones chip the paint which then leads to corrosion of the alloys keep us posted ;)

  21. Yup you will get a slight increase in burble but as Gambit says to go further you will need to look at the system as well - the Prodrive on the back of mine gave a great sound without being too intrusive
