Depends what your ecu will allow, mine only had two options open source or a standalone replacement ecu. Yours can be re flashed directly, one of the software companies developed the software and you pay 150 for the licence then map, others like carberry are again open source so you pay for the map
  2. Ah ok, thanks for the info on the meet, i'm preparing myself for the boxing so doubt i'll make it this time, is it monthly ?
  3. From this To this Nothing major just to bring it more in line with rest of the car

Which bit tom ? Carberry is essentially the same as the other mapping software but no licence required, hence why ecutek and others require you to part with 150quid for the privilage

Drop duncan graham (racedynamix) an email see if he does carberry software, or tell him what your looking for and he'll advise you of options. He travels all over the country too
  9. Bought some slightly smoked side repeater lenses, should be here tomorrow
  10. Nopd not really lol ! Ciuld be anything from a wheel bearing to worn bush, does it sound internal or external? My passenger seatbelt knocks against the door trim if it's not retracted fully drove me insane for a week or two before i worked out what it was
  11. Standard ones only seem to last 3-4years, mishimoto do a fancy all ally construction rad with a bigger core it's 200+ if i remember
  12. Looks really nice mate [emoji106]
  13. Suonds like he doesn't know what he's doing, i'd get some legal advice and ask to see all the parts he's bought, old enhgine new one etc etc, recipts for the gaskets and what not, he's either incompetent or trying to pull the wool over your eyes
  14. Don't forget to budget fo a thousand miles worth of running in oil and filters, i know it's not much but easily overlooked
  15. Yeah mate don't bother with uprated pads on the rear tge padgid ones you can get are pretty effective, the fronts handle a lot more of the braking anyway go uprated fronts then if your still not happy change the rears later

I do indeed however my 2nd map is for emergency supermarket fuel if i ever get stuck without shell garage, it's an esl board which is only usable for cars up to 1998 so may not be of any use to newer members, have to look at the other options, what year is your car mate ? Carberry open source mapping may be worth checking out, mfnick has it on his sti, think you can have twin maps and will be about 300,
  17. Screamer pipe if you really want to **** your neighbours off
  18. Blanking plates mate, forcing the turbo to stall puts loads of undue stress on it,
  19. Jmget a system with a resonator in the centre section that way it won't be overly loud, if you decide it's too quite you should just be able to get a non res section made up cheap enough
  20. Mine showed no signs of going started her up one evening was warming up when it started to **** out of one side, couldn't actually see where from or replicate it when I filled it with water so the pressure must have been forcing it out, Www.importcarparts.co.uk will have a new one for around a ton should get it next day too
