stuartie Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 If all the holes are before the o2 sensor then yes this could bring up a code as the sensor will not be detecting the correct amount of gasses 👍
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Part of mes saying just let the do it an be done with it, in 2 minds what you think stuartie
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 An get the right seals obv, gonna find out this mornin exactly what parts need done
stuartie Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 It's really up to you bud if it was me i would see how they feel about you getting all the parts yourself from a breakers and gaskets from icp coz it will be cheaper than getting them to source parts also eBay is great for breakers 👍
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Only problem with that is I dont have a feckin clue what I'm lookin for, I'll see what price they come back with today I dont think they'll have a prob with me getting parts tbh
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 When I find out later what parts need done will somebody show me what gaskets I'll need?
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 I've read that wagon exhaust parts are different from saloon not sure if it's just the back box that's diff
stuartie Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 What part of the exhaust is actually fooked mate and phone luke at icp for the gaskets he will sort you out right away 👍
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Just spoke to the mechanic mate hes saying it needs the exhaust centre section that has the cat on it. Just need to get a price on that then match it up to the price they come back with this afternoon.
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Anyone got the number for mb developments, cant find a number on Google
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Just called them none in they're saying best off looking on eBay or Facebook. Dont have Facebook...
stuartie Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Not sure how to share the link but there's a newage centre section for £40 on eBay, if you type in impreza newage exhaust 👍
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Cheers mate will that fit my.wagon? And is that a decent one?
stuartie Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Aye thats the one mate i think it should just be a straight swap but i'm not really up to date with the newage stuff tbh coz i've just had a classic, hopefully someone who knows for sure will be along to enlighten us 👍
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Legend cheers for that mate that's cheap as chips!
stuartie Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 It's only cheap if thats the right part mate, i would go see if it definitely the same as whats on your car, if it's still at the garage go down and show them the one thats for sale and check it against your motor 👍
ROSSCOSM Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Does the centre section even have a cat in it? Or is it including the cat replacement? I’ve been seeing this today but been undoing Allen bolts to move my bed all day ffs Allen bolts 😡🤬
ROSSCOSM Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 I.e do you need a new cat and a centre section
stuartie Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Now you've said that ross i think thats a resonator, it doesn't look like a cat anyways 👍
ROSSCOSM Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Yeah mate I’m sure that is a resonator. As far as I’m aware it’s down pipe, secondary cat then that piece ( centre section) then back box.
Daryl Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Yeah that's what he'll be meanin then ross hopefully wont be as exp if it's the secondary?
