Ok, I know they're just dust caps, but damm, they're nice! 😊

 

I never use metal caps after replacing hundreds of customers valves working at the garage due to their metal caps seizing on to the valves, make sure you put some form of grease or lubricant on the valve threads every so often so you can get them off easily when ever you need to put some air in your tyres etc. :smile:

focus st i bought someone had fitted metal caps,i had to hold one valves with pliers while i twisted cap off with another pair,cap ended up no good,but binned them anyway .

mine got nicked so stick with good old black plastic now

caught the little sh1te, he had about 30 but chucked them all into a hedge just before i grabbed him. only managed to find 3 of mine.

Managed to drop a 10ml socket down the front of the engine and I can't blooming see it. You can imagine my response to doing it. So now need to buy a camera thingy to look for it. Bugger

You can remove the engine undertray and have a look that way...

Don't even worry about it go buy a new socket,

My engines claimed a pair of pliers, 19mm crows foot 12& 10 1mm sockets, they come out eventually
