Used Infinity Wax's dark wax for the first time today... was a bit of a sceptic when it came to the "active scratch fillers" but it blew me away how good a job it did at hiding my many little surface scratches, the joys of having a black car!!

Do love a mirror finish tho... :D

Looks great! Black is amazing when it's clean, great to show off corrections but a b*****d to keep it looking like that!

I never use metal caps after replacing hundreds of customers valves working at the garage due to their metal caps seizing on to the valves, make sure you put some form of grease or lubricant on the valve threads every so often so you can get them off easily when ever you need to put some air in your tyres etc.

Managed to drop a 10ml socket down the front of the engine and I can't blooming see it. You can imagine my response to doing it. So now need to buy a camera thingy to look for it. Bugger

You can remove the engine undertray and have a look that way...

I try fishing it out with a telescopic magnet thingy, usually works if you can avoid other bits.  Also might be worth dropping off the under tray.

Don't even worry about it go buy a new socket,

My engines claimed a pair of pliers, 19mm crows foot 12& 10 1mm sockets, they come out eventually
