  1. I know we had a guy on here that will do them for you at a price but seen a lot of people doing the fly eye thing now and it's legal. Doesn't look to bad from what I seen on cars, might be worth a look.
  2. I've had that problem with a few cars now not being able to get them on the ramps. one was that low when I had a flat tyre I had to drive it up loads of logs and wood to just to take the wheel off as I couldn't get the low jack I have under it :D
  3. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C we have a few from over your side of the world that pop on from time to time. And I have to agree the club has been amazing with great friendly members. So please feel free to join in on the threads :)
  4. I don't mate sorry. Have you tried any of the local breakers yards might get lucky. I have a list of a few on here and keep meaning to email one to see if he would pop on to help with parts.
  5. As said above I wouldn't without some upgrades to match. I know I was surprised when a member came on here a couple of years back when the club was a baby and said he had just swapped the ecu over with a prodrive I honestly didn't think it would have worked but said it runs fine. Didn't see him again after that so not sure what happened after running it over a period of time.
  6. Mine was for the MOT and because the profiles 225 35's 18 the 35's are about £30 to £40 more than 40's but I didn't know that at the time so just paid for it and 6 months tax as it had ran out of tax so that was added on the price :)
  7. Hmmm worthey course I geuss ;) So really they are good you're just being picky
  8. Might be able to get a donor ECU to test 1st. But just did a quick look on the web are these worth a ring ? http://www.carburettorandinjectioncentre.co.uk/Our-Other-Specialities.php
  9. Bit like my car nothing nothi.. And lift off!
  10. Scooby clinic doesn't get a good review by a few on here that have been there always charging for jobs that didn't need doing and so on :( I'm not sure about testing them myself to be fair and couldn't tell you if Scoobyworld can test them but be worth ringing them I guess.
  11. Ouch 2 years work gone in 6 months. So this time next year then you will be pushing it for the 400 mark ;) Next thing I need disc brakes and pads all round been eyeing some nice brembo ones up. I would have thought Kevlar pads would have been good did they just heat up too quick then and fade away under heavy braking I would have thought they would have dealt with the heat better than anything else other than racing brake pads
  12. I like the sound of the splitter, I do like them anyway.
  13. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I can't add anymore I don't think. Cheers Tlag great advice as always :)
  14. These did my engine rebuild and remap and other stuff about 8 years ago and I thought they was spot on they should be able to check it for you http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/contacts.php?osCsid=4cf5e20f7d497e238390074b7e6a0fbe Or will have there own people that can. Not the cheapest place but only one I know local to you.
  15. Oh I thought it was more than that wasn't far off just a few 100 and who cares about numbers anyway :D I said something a bit similar. It went along the lines of. " I'm happy with the car as it is it's fast enough standard I tuned my last car I'm not doing it again" :D I know why I thought it was 500+ because of them Videos you posted or pictures of your mates :) And it does look nice mate hopefully will serve you well now for the distant future, other than upgrades hopefully no more big costly bills. And it's fine I did have to look twice at the sig. And I don't mind mate :)
  16. Yeah it's a killer I had to do that few years back :( £680 gone on the 3rd of January :(
  17. Whoop-whoop like savage I was wondering when the next update was coming :D So went for drilling it then :) I guess no other way really. And looking more like a built engine now fingers crossed be ready to see it now the roads are getting dry :)
  18. Exactly why myself and many others don't use it. I have a few people on there that I keep in contact and I will pop on for a browse but thats it. It's a shame it's only really just a majority of the members but from speaking with other Scoobie owners their not doing it's reputation any good :( And cheers Martin appreciate the help mate :)
  19. I find it's the best way I would let Tlag work on mine from on here and Martin from Sheffield Subaru Services and a handful of others. I worry when I have to have new tyres or balancing done just because I don't know them mainly :D
  20. Looks spot on mate, and I agree not a fan of the pink badge :)
  21. Sounds like my type of bloke :D and if he does be nice to see his cars in action and vids I like the videos of drifting :)
  22. It is a shame some rare parts :(
  23. Nice should have got him to sign up and post some pictures :D
  24. Haha It gets addictive look at Savage bulldogs car over 500BHP Some years of the impreza might be but I've always gone on the 240/250BHP I wouldn't go past that myself
  25. No problem mate should be getting the sign up and pay web form up soon I was emailing Steve about it last night so should be up anytime now.
