I have used a tape measure and some masking tape on a wall before and then adjusted accordingly- save going to a garage but depends on convenience I suppose. A suggestion, is there a headlight levelling dial on your dash for when towing? If so is that set incorrectly?

Changing the exhaust - not many listed for this motor being an NA so after quite a few weeks researching took a punt on one for a WRX - S, turbo but single exhaust outlet. Opted for the Cobra one as full stainless, good price point and not too loud. Turns out it is compatible. There is a single difference and this is the donut gasket between cat section and main system. The WRX S has a larger bore pipe so the inner diameter of the donut supplied by Cobra is 66mm where the RX is 60mm - the outside diameters are the same so if you can get away with the gasket not disintegrating (mine did) a bit of exhaust gum and you can reuse. If not ebay can get you a replacement

Without seeing the kit itself I believe shms to be correct. As above - limited manufacturing run, a remap would be the best solution - why does it need to be a 340R ECU as the Prodrive map is ok but nothing special - the ECUTEK option gives more functionality, flat foot shifting, launch control as well as the power increase

The problem with them being stuck open is it lets moisture back in which leads to corrosion - IMO I would remove and blank as you have suggested

hmmmm - Subaru not having a clue is not inspiring - I would be behind the panels checking connections, something may have come loose particularly with the rear dvd but that does not help - Is there an amplifier under your front seat where leads may be converging and might have been knocked loose?

I also have been taking advantage of the great weather, however I have recently joined a FB group and whilst it is active I find it harder to navigate and search for information vs a forum so a lot of questions get repeated quite regularly. So do prefer the forum approach myself given the choice

Hi - my Impreza N/A auto is a little slow on the uptake but when I checked the 0-60 times vs the manual there was only a second in it - this I ended up attributing to the first gear ratio in the auto and the fact that it hangs onto it irrespective of sports mode selected or not
