New winter wheels and tyres.
Scooby in its natural habitat

Refreshing bushes etc
It would depend on how you want the car to feel - If it was me I would go for a mild upgrade but no the full solid track orientated one - Think they are the black super pro ones not the purple so you get slightly stiffer but not rattle your fillings out

As above check breakers and post a wanted thread in the forum section

Will venting to atmosphere make me run rich?
Hi it can make your car run rich yes as the air reading passing the MAF has already sent a signal to the ECU which is fuelling for that volume which you are now letting out of the system. Scoobies are set up as standard to run slightly rich as well to compensate for being used with varying fuel quality around different locations. A trip to a dyno would be money well spent and with a good map you could see an improvement in fuel economy plus midrange drive

Max Engine BHP before breaking?
Set your budget for the engine (then add 10% contingency). Look at forged internals, replacing the crank bearings and upgrade the engine bolts. Consider replacing the oil pickup with a reinforced item and also fit a sump baffle - that way you reduce the risk of oil starvation lunching your engine.

Boost Controller
If you were not going the way you are planning with a proper map an electronic boost is a way of tweaking but as you are going for a map save your money

Hawkeye STI remap
Duncans maps are completely custom but I would do a little more research if that is who you are set upon - He definitely divides opinion based on varying results

Subaru auto turbo conversion
Orrrrr how about a samsonas semi auto box with paddle shift - at the higher end of the budget but it can take some serious bhp?

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Had a polisher for xmas - finally managed to give it a whirl, soooo much easier than the old karate kid routine but I need to invest in some pads and decent polisher mops as the one it came with malted over the car

New winter wheels and tyres.
Yes but not on a sccobie - just put them on my lads colt - big transformation, very pleased so far, was going for Nokians but then read a new test report which pitched the Michelins placed in top 2 but the thing that swayed it for me was no degredation in grip as the tyre wore, performed the same down to 1.5 mm. Only thing I was surprised at was they do not have a rim protector shoulder but they perform very well - will be putting them on the Subaru when I have sourced some winter wheels

Classic Impreza needed for film shoot
Hi - I might be missing something - but for clarity do you want a car with a boot or an estate / hatch back type as a saloon has x4 doors and a boot but the hatch has x5 doors?
