  6. Hi all, Had a defective vernier caliper branded Halfords Professional - came with a lifetime guarantee at the time of purchase. Went to exchange today and was asked for a receipt - I didnt have one but the lady went off to check. Long story short they will exchange it for a laser option (no advanced option in the range) which is fair enough. However I was advised to bring in all my Halfords professional branded tools to get them replaced with Halfords advanced alternatives to maintain the lifetime guarantee asap. I will be having a rummage through later and replacing whatever I have as advised

  14. Wotcha and welcome - nothing wrong with RX8 but I think going from your Nissan to that one will leave you wanting so given the two choices go with the scoob - either way keep us posted
  15. Wotcha and welcome - lovely motor, only mod i would recommend given the cat change is a map to suit existing setup if not completed already

  19. Hi - my Impreza N/A auto is a little slow on the uptake but when I checked the 0-60 times vs the manual there was only a second in it - this I ended up attributing to the first gear ratio in the auto and the fact that it hangs onto it irrespective of sports mode selected or not
  20. Wotcha and welcome - you never now it may turn up 🤞
  21. service history, cambelt and pulley change. If it has not been done budget for a new fuel pump, often overlooked.
  22. looked at a c63 before purely for that sound - just awesome, would consider a monaro ute for the same reason 🤗
  23. Wotcha and welcome - yes I was relatively late but am fully immersed now 😁
  24. Here you go https://www.opieoils.co.uk/f/2355/22542/2001/engine-oil-oil-filter-service-kits.asp
  25. Wotcha and welcome - Some of the older cars suffer from a rusted filler pipe to the tank so may not be a fuel seal. Check what exhaust has been put on as I believe there are x2 cats, if it is a full prodrive system the lower cat may already be removed. Here is an example of the other cat removal pipe http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_53&products_id=447 I would recommend doing your oil, filter and plugs before you get a remap the you know teh state of your consumables before it hits the rollers 😀👍
