  1. hahaha yeah, mines in the £500 :(
  2. welcome, GT86 is pretty much a subaru anyway lol
  3. being an import will prob be in the lower band but your only talking £20 difference a month anyway so if its an issue then your gonna get a major shock with costs
  4. ah ok, fair do's
  5. they are basicly an sti but bigger, so go like stink, handel well, but MPG is great, need to make sure you rn it on Vpower or tesco 99 only. Tax wise being an import i'd take a a guess at £280 a year.
  6. WRX sedan MY95 Sept 1994 – Aug 1995 GC8C48D EJ20GDW4HD TY752VB3FA 260PS WRX sedan MY96 Sept 1995 – Aug 1996 GC8C48D EJ20GDW4HD TY752VB3FA 260PS WRX V-Limited sedan MY96 Oct 1995 – Aug 1996 GC8C48D EJ20GDW4HE TY752VB4AA 260PS 96 v-limited engine code according to that?
  7. isnt the engine code wrong for that?
  8. grats, what did the graph look like?
  9. sounds about right, flat 4 boxer is not an economical engine in any format. my mrs 2.0 sport gets similar MPG to my 2.5 hawk sti. my dads got a 4 month old XV and is lucky to get's over mid 30's per tank.
  10. sounds like there might be something else going on
  11. yeah to confirm, its a jap import, 95 or 96 wrx saloon, strange thing is its a V-limited engine code but a normal wrx gearbox code
  12. did the mapper not look into it at the time? or did he just map it with the fault anyway?
  13. ah bummer, shame you didnt have it done while it was off the car, darn sight easier to do
  14. great cars for all weather go anywhere are forresters
  15. do you mean the new GTR?
  16. subtle hahaha
  17. Just find a friendly MOT centre and sack off the cat's completly. As far as the injectors just sell them, they arn't needed, unless your planning on having the engine rebuilt with forged pistons etc.
  18. also a prodrive option just to throw some more mud in the water hahaha
  19. there's KYB and there's KYB. sounds aft i know, but the standard shocks are made by KYB, but the spec on them are crap and they fail. I had KYB AGX shocks combined with eibachs on my old classic and they were very good.
  20. hahaha, they are required by law in japan, technically should have been taken out by the importer ;)
  21. haha, im getting old so softer is def getting more important lol
  22. yep, they are classed as an explosive :o
  23. ah, bit more like it lol
  24. £800 for a maf? that a rip off.
