  1. subtle hahaha
  2. Just find a friendly MOT centre and sack off the cat's completly. As far as the injectors just sell them, they arn't needed, unless your planning on having the engine rebuilt with forged pistons etc.
  3. also a prodrive option just to throw some more mud in the water hahaha
  4. there's KYB and there's KYB. sounds aft i know, but the standard shocks are made by KYB, but the spec on them are crap and they fail. I had KYB AGX shocks combined with eibachs on my old classic and they were very good.
  5. hahaha, they are required by law in japan, technically should have been taken out by the importer ;)
  6. haha, im getting old so softer is def getting more important lol
  7. ah right, fingers crossed it goes ok
  8. i'm yet to find any coilovers that don't make the car a hard ride.
  9. I suggest you pop down to a specialist and get them to give it a once over.
  10. Had a loan forrester for a week while mines gone in for some bits, have to saying im really liking it. it's a 2.0 so doesn't have the power obviously, but driver really nice. Seriously got me thinking about get one as a daily.
  11. check out pedders ezifit, full units including top mounts, shocks and lowering springs. I wouldn't bother with coilovers on a road car myself
  12. no gearbox will handle lots of launches, they all fail, even 6 speed's, sooner or later. What are you actualy trying to do?
  13. switch looks likley to be for rear fog light (not required in japan so they are fitted when imported) but short of pressing it and see what happens no way to be 100% sure, second one is a flare, take it out the car because its illegal in the uk. Just leave it somewhere safe at home.
  14. 1L per 1000 miles is the point where you know you have an issue so its up there. Given the noise on boost i;d get the turbo checked out.
  15. stay well clear. they will do your engine no good at all
  16. there also used to be something about them not chargining unless side lights were left on, was on impreza's though
  17. newer cars do tend to drain the batterys quicker with all the gubbins on them as they say. if its going to sit for periods could look at getting a ctek battery conditioner, there only about £50 and they keep the battery topped up.
