  3. Does it still run when unplugging the maf? Not very scientific but if it stalls it's good, Proper way is to test it with a multi meter, Could be one of many things, iacv maf throttle sensor, map sensor split hose etc, I'd start with the cheap options checking for leaks then move onto looking at the rest of it, Is the fueling correct ?   6. This the same place that messed you around with the seat ? I may be getting confused with my gasses, one was banned a while back (freon) ?   12. Ah ok, yeah it's a dilemma weather to cut your losses or go all out on an engine & drive train built to your own spec. You could try www.apiimpreza.co.uk for a rough quote, I think they do recon engines,there's also matty at mb developments (breaker) who could source you a decent running replacment

You'll be looking at anything between 2-4k on an engine rebuild depending on what kind of spec and who's doing the job, 2nd hand engines are always a bit of a risk due to the unknown history of them, I'm using Tapatalk so can't see where you are but there's bound to be specalists not to far away,

  18. Yes mate, mine had a sudden loss of power flashed on and then went away, all was fine, this was after 45 mins of heavy stop start traffic

  22. Check out @savagebulldogs build thread, should give you some idea in what's involved, Oem internals will be good for 280-300 without stressing too much, all depends on what kind of budget your playing with
