stants
Nice to see you back, would be good for this forum to be more active. Is it a gear knob? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk Sti carbon inserts for the wings, the laile part ? Pitchstop but box looks too small so I'll say some form of bushing or strengthening part Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Ric
Over the weekend, ive had the front of the car off, its now showing off a set of Hella Supertone twin horns, a massive upgrade from the puny ones from subaru. Bit of front end bling in an otherwise fairly toned down car. Pity I messed up the idle calibration from having the Battery off, and had that to deal with afterwards. Self inflicted though.
savage bulldogs
Postie came yesterday with a massive box from luke at icp [emoji106] then today i got a call from my engineer saying he's finished cleaning and checking the last few bits of the bug sti engine [emoji41] Looks like I'm gonna have plenty to do now [emoji4]

savage bulldogs
Na standard rods and pistons are good for 450hp (about the limit for scd) , so just had a light hone on the bores and new rings. Had the pistons cleaned though and they've measured up within standard spec tollerances [emoji41]
savage bulldogs
Mrs was supposed to be having a operation yesterday , so i spent most of the day sat in a nhs chair at the hospital. After 5 hrs i got really bored watching the mrs sleep and accidentally bought a set of 3x prosport wrc halo gauges , to cheer her up after the op ...... . Only to find out her op was cancelled and we got sent home 10 mins after said purchase [emoji849]They're not hear yet but for £200 they look a decent bit of kit from "little devil gauges" [emoji41] All I've gotta do now is tell the wife and hope im not the one gonna be needing a hospital appointment 🤣[emoji23]

savage bulldogs
Remote is to set colour , brightness , peak warnings and colours . Apparently the "halo ring " lights up when you hit the peak / minimum limits .Which will be a refreshing change from my "ring " nipping when something goes wrong [emoji4]

How do you go about getting electrical supply them, I’ve always been put off illuminated gages for that reason. I was looking at getting a gredy informeter but I priced up all the bits and bobs needed and it’s over £500 [emoji85]Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
savage bulldogs
I know my way round a engine and have recently learnt a fair bit about classic electrics chasing my v1's gremlins .But gauges are fairly simple if you get the right subaru fitment "bungs " for oil temp n pressure. I'd say it was about 2hrs work when you've done it before . Shame your so far away from suffolk id have glady done it .... Well once the bugs running again .I just liked the idea of my old skool apexi f.c hand controller logging peak values after a pull , although my mapper has set the eml to flash (for knock , egt , airflow and temp ) warning levels , which is a good visual warning on the dash [emoji41]I'd like a audio / visual warning as soon as posible, rather than looking at peak values after the event . Hopefully avoiding too much damage if something fails [emoji6]

Yeah me and my daughter's are feeling a bit stiff from the side impact , the v1sti's looking worse than it is . Don't think they'll write it off due to the £7k agreed value .3 of the rotas are fubar'd passenger side wing , front door , rear door and a slight dent in the outter sill .Managed to get a mate with a recovery truck but it was too low to get on , so pumped the 2 flat tyres up and drove it the 2 miles home . Nothing seems bent as it drove fine . 5 polish lads in a honda estate just decided that they would change lanes in a 30 limit without checking over their shoulder and side swiped me [emoji34]Few pics of the damage , i'll get some better ones in the daylight
savage bulldogs
David looks like I'll be cracking on with the bug now , cos i can't live without burble n boost for too long lol .So seeing as a few of the core members are asking about gauges , i'll do a little how 2 fitting the prosport halo gauges into a newage .As I've already decided that the v1sti is gonna be back bigger n better than before [emoji4] so the bug sti's old defis will go into the v1sti and new prosports into the bug sti
