  1. Hard to say tbh. You never get your money back on mods, or at least not all of it, but they do look epic.
  2. need to see side on of the top blade. v5 is more or less flat, v6 kicks up at the back
  3. 100% a type R, version wise its either a 5 or 6, can you show a pic of the rear spoiler?
  4. 2 door import is one of only 2 cars. a type R or 22b, wont be a 22b (trust me you;d know if you had one) so can tell you 100% it will be a Type R. Sounds like its be registered wrong at the DVLA, which isnt uncommon. get some pics up :)
  5. Slight correction you can check the applied model code
  6. you cant, how many doors does it have?
  7. Is that def the right picture, from what i can tell its aftermarket, not factory unit?
  8. as far as I'm aware, havn't seen him or the car in a few months, i dont think he drives it that much, it was up for sale again at one point.
  9. The black one was built for marv a mate of mine, got sold on to a lad called chris whos from notts as well

Hawk onwards 5 speed is considerably stronger so shouldn't be an issue unless your ham fisted with it, i ran 390/420 on one for 15 months no issue and know a few others who have been well over 400.
  11. Cheers, no longer have the car now sadly, clinic returned it to stock and resprayed it and its been sold on, good knews is i know who the owner is so know he'll take care of it 😄
  12. Clinic's done a few of them to various spec's. Nice bit of kit for sure
  13. What mods does rhe car have? Has it been remapped?
  14. thats a bodge fix anyway, is just covers the noise, not fix the problem. look at a decent set of aftermarket either shocks or coilovers
  15. 2.5 has known issues with headgaskets and ringlands. They dont all go but a higher percentage than most engine types
  16. Sounds way way too cheap 1800 for rebyild and clutch change
  17. With a nocking engine and being stood for many years wont be worth huge amounts im afraid 😞 Being a wrx will only be 4-5k at most even in top condition. Engine your looking at a 3-4k bill, plus a car standing for years wont have done anything for the seals and other rubber components. Even though it has unused tyres i expect it will need a new set anyway unless they went on recently? I'd say anything over £1500 and your doing well.
  18. Yeah its same everywhere. Up to you, so much crap ibformstion gets given out on fb is the downside.

    They are aftermarket arnt they?
  20. Sign of the tines. Traffic flow on forums is down across the board. Fb and a drop in owner numbers has hit scoob scene hard 😞 this site has fits a bursts so keep an eye on it, its got a good bunch of folks on here.
  21. im yet to see any stock td04's make 300 without some sort of discrepancy with the graphs/settings on the dyno/temp correction. Hybrids are a different kettle of fish though of course. Hot days tend to give better figures than cold days due to over correction, which doesn't happen on hot days due to that correction not being there.
  22. I still remember a fudged figure at a dyno day, 286bhp, out if a 2.0 sport? Brought some sniggers but highlights a point of how easy it is to fudge.
  23. Watch out for wheel fitment, they wont go under normal wheels.
  24. Being a 2.5 i'd be leaning more towards the headgasket. best bet is get a sniff test done and see what the result is.
