  1. So bit of an update. Been having issues with noisy and knocking suspension from the pedders on the rear end. Top mounts were found to be at fault so they were replaced. The new ones were even worse so a full set of rears were ordered and fitted. Problem still persisted so its been decided to replace them with a set of Tein Flex Z http://www.tein.co.uk/product/flex_z.html Have to say im pretty disappointed with the pedders and wont be recommending them to anyone. I'll be there while they are fitted so i'll try to get some pics as they go in and then the final look of the car.
  2. once you get one fo the f1 cars is much much easier to earn money. i love spa so i can easily do a 30 lap race in one go and with the 1980's f1 car makes best part of 450k and 2 or 3 levels at a time. o i also splashed out on a G29 when uit was on offer. https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/product/g29-driving-force
  3. forza 7 on and off, skyrim (again haha), world of warships and currently waiting for farcry 5 (dont even try and get a responce from me for a week after that comes out hahaha)
  4. o right strange, he quoted me £450 for closed decking when i had the type r built :s
  5. It's actualy a spec D
  6. Last i hear it was nearer £500 for the CDing only hicup with second had sc46 is you dont know how its been treated or what version it is (been revised several times)
  7. sc46 is hard to beat
  8. just send the block off to have it done. Alyn at AS performance does them
  9. The dealer can order them in from japan, subaru uk keep sod all in stock in the UK nowadays. Subaru UK has proper gone to the dogs
  10. prob worth getting it closed decked while its a out. Also make sure the bores are properly checked for tollerance, they can oval.
  11. yeah, TD04 is teeny weeny :) cool, get the graphs etc up when its done :D
  12. cars depreciate, parts don't. So come service/rebuild time, its a 20k car
  13. custom map yes 100%, make sure if done on a dyno its road test after with det cans etc, should also take then at least an hour or more to map it. As far as fuel pump yes it will need an upgrade, walbrough 255 is a common one but a decent brand 340 will be fine. Turbo wont do 300, if they claim it is i would say BS figures
  14. 265ps stock sti and ppp then 305ps, but i believe the wr1 was tweaked slightly more up to around 320ps. https://impreza.co/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/2003-WRX-STi-PPP-Brochure.pdf https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/538782-whats-the-difference-in-an-sti-and-a-wr1.html wont be 350 stock form and will struggle to be that even with full decat and custom map.
  15. i dont believe a word of it tbh
  16. letting the side down there mate lol
  17. only got a 2wd dyno so doubt they do many scoobs
  18. only real question will be the exhaust and how much restriction the cats will add in.
  19. as far as a map goes its just a wrx.
  20. i dont have an issue with it. although i am using an ad blocker
  21. i've seen plenty of places promise plenty of extra bhp on a non turbo subaru, but im yet to see any of them manage to get anywhere near the claims they make. i'd expect nearer 5bhp and i expect any noticeable improvement will be in your head. But if you do go ahead get it on a dyno before and then after to see the change, i'd happily be proven wrong :)
  22. my dad was told 3 year 60k on both his 15 and 17 plate :S
  23. will be what ecutek have allowed it to do, does say you can map a BZR with it but not other subaru models.
  24. unless it has a turbo you wont see much in the way of gains.
  25. reality is there are pretty much a remapped hatch sti with some badges. so little difference.
