Shop around. Give Keith Micheals a call as they specialise in performance cars.

exhaust bolt removal tips
try the bolt grips first. Honestly they are the best thing I have used for this job.

Photo license Renewal
I'm still using my paper licence as I refuse to swap a perfectly legal document for their photo licence at my own cost. They should at least replace your licence free the first time and then sting you every ten years.

Steering Wheel Shake
It's not been mentioned but another cause of wheel wobble is warped discs. I scuppered a brand new set of traox discs after a track day. They were very slightly wrapped and induced steering wheel shake. Good luck with the search for a leggy :)

exhaust bolt removal tips
Easy peasy...... All 5 nuts on my downpipe were corroded, rounded off and generally a pain to remove. Bit of WD40 on them then get a ring or open ended spanner on the back and a Bolt grip on the front. Will come off easy as pie. Irwin Bolt Grips £24.99 screwfix. http://www.screwfix.com/p/irwin-bolt-grip-nut-remover-set-5-pieces/96028?kpid=96028&cm_mmc=Google-_-Product%20Listing%20Ads-_-Sales%20Tracking-_-sales%20tracking%20url&kpid=96028&cm_mmc=Google-_-Shopping%20-%20Auto%20and%20Cleaning-_-Shopping%20-%20Auto%20and%20Cleaning&gclid=CMvvkO3Rs8ACFY_MtAodwEAAtA

End of the road for Tax Discs
Gambit posted this up awhile ago, knew I'd read it before.... http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/4297-private-cars-cannot-be-sold-with-road-tax-from-october-2014/?hl=discs#entry22553

new and bit lost
Can't see why not, it would mean getting a complete new bumper with the cut outs for the exhaust. Not many hatchbacks on the breakers market so getting a bumper would mean big expense. Might be better investing the money in an STI from the beginning.

New clutch needed. New flywheel too?
Not normally required, however my fly wheel had hair line cracks in it when he took the Clutch plate off so it needed replacing. Bit of a trip but I would highly recommend Len at http://www.subaru4you.co.uk/ he did the clutch on my classic.

burnt oil odur
nice easy fix :)

burnt oil odur
How long have you owned the car? If it's not long take it back ASAP. Has it recently been serviced, if it has I'd say some has not done the oil filter/sump plug back up properly. If it was serviced recently take it back to who ever did it. Otherwise take it to a garage or Subaru specialist ASAP and get them to have a look at it.

Your Opinion on Badges?
I took most of the badges of my car, only kept the STI, removed the Suabru & Impreza badges. At the end of the day it's your car :)

- hatch sti seats ?
Would have thought that was each seat but then Jap performance prob isn't the best place to get an idea of £ Sorry for the bum steer savage.- hatch sti seats ?
http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk/part_details.asp?ID=100872865 Jap Performance parts have a full set front and rear and are asking £750 for front seats and rear bench. However they are the alcantara version with these being cloth I reckon I'd ask £400 ono???- Modified Forester STi Insurance
You have to be careful of the small print with High street companies they may say they will cover this and that and then claim no knowledge of it when/if its time to claim. I've been using Keith Micheals for the past 12 years with no issues what soever, they Insure a lot of my local clubs scoobs and are happy to work with you regards mods. Only bad thing about them is that they are quite busy and don't always return calls :( http://www.keithmichaels.co.uk/- My JapFest pix
