  8. some great shots there chum
  9. I was just putting mine in neutral with handbrake on then pressing button to kill engine but the other way will mean you dont have to start the engine

  11. I just went in behind the wheel arch, couple of clips, no issue
  12. lovely motor - clearly well kept - think it will be a case of waiting for the right buyer
  13. I had proxes but agree not as good a some others in wet - better than the Yokohama A300's I had but not as good as the continentals I replaced them with equally sticky but better in the wet, similar price as well

  15. hover your pointer over the members name, a box will appear with details - a button to send message is on the bottom left portion of the box.
  16. It doesnt need to cost a grand. The clunk is them drying inside hence the grease. They wont be bouncy as the oil and therefore damping in the main cylinder is not affected. If you are happy with the car as a whole it would be better to fix this and not lose out on a trade in deal
  17. no worries ;) - had not come across these guys was intrigued - looks like a good site certainly stacks of engine parts
  18. Got an error with .co.uk?? is it these chaps?? http://www.apiimpreza.com/ looking better - from £1200+ vat for a recon of your engine
  19. Whilst it is frowned upon there is an option to get it remapped a have a dpf delete completed. Not exactly mot friendly dependant on where you go though. I would try the higher revs in low gear first though has worked for me in past on other diesels. As mentioned this isnt just a Subaru issue its a diesel motor issue so if you changed to another manufacturer but kept a diesel you will get the same result
