  1. Agree with above - its fine joining the forum to sell your motor but give yourself a decent chance get some photos up, what is the mileage etc check out some of the other sales links for ideas on how to present your motor.
  2. Hey - great to hear it chum - I have not driven a classic but I have driven a Hawkeye and the 400bhp in black would be a big plus but the only way you can be sure is take it out - I dont know as you will find the steering as sharp you may need to investigate a quicker steering rack?? either way keep us posted :)
  3. I would be interested in some runs and this auto 'pack' that was mentioned in the leggy section would mean a trip oop north but would be great to meet up with some of the other members also
  4. mate of mine uses it on his 1934 MG "Little Beauty" to avoid the water rusting the panels - it works well but you can imagine it does not get absolutely caked in mud - he does go off road though as a lot of the shows he attends are in fields so its not a trailer queen
  5. clearly well looked after - good luck with the sale
  6. You can get varying thickness's, so get your ruler out - looking to get some 20mm ones myself just to fill arches out but I will still have clearance. To me they are a cheaper option of getting a wider stance, check quality of fit also - make sure everything is going to mate together nicely
  7. yeah - thanks for turning up - check out the other sales threads for examples of how to market your motor - significant room for improvement - if none seen in 48 hours thread will be deleted - in fact just start over by creating a new thread in the correct forum section with details of your motor - feel free to include the link as a reference but make some effort to include details and photos on this site please
  8. Shame its being broken - there is a member on here who may be interested in the engine although as they have a defective 2.5 lump I am not sure what else would be needed to perform the transplant. what would you want for the complete engine?
  9. ahh got you - thanks - it was me after all
  10. Id be up for this also :) - although I do work away in the week given notice I can try and be in UK
  11. where are the seats pictures - prob me being a numpty but I cannot see them??
  12. Lovely motor and those rims look spot on - do you still have the originals as well? Good luck with the sale :)
  13. ooooohhh the anticipation
  14. mate - looking good - loving the teeth under the bumper :D
  15. lovely looking motor that - shame you have to sell but I do get the reasoning behind it - good luck with the sale I hope it finds an appreciative owner
  16. This is looking top drawer - awesome !!
  17. Given the tax saving I would go turbo and spend the money saved on any tweaks ;)
  18. Feel free to post the ebay link as well if you would like
  19. some tasty additions there
  20. Yup always a concern particualrly as so much seems to be compromising, so original concept with track focus gives way to softer lines and handling - but I dare say the chassis will be able to cope with extra ponies and will possibly benefit from new sussies ;)
  21. Wotcha and welcome - lovely motor, good luck with the sale
  22. replaced rusty clamp that had broken on exhaust, jizer + snow foamed + jet washed engine bay finally trying to get rid of the green gunk
