  4. 78k on an 11 year old car is low milage, as long as its been looked after (like that one) then will be fine.
  5. Reality is either 1 or 2 is fine, 2 is better than 1. Problem comes when you give it large prior to letting it warm up properly. Bear in mind oil takes alot longer than water to warm up

Ah fair enough, if it was weekend toy a classic R or RA would be best, but daily def a new age. and 11k should get you a nice blob JDM or spec c. look for the later one 04/05 so has the widetrack and personaly think nicer interior.   8. Drive it for a few miles steady (make sure its up to temp before giving it beans, may take longer than you think ;) ). Sitting idling doesn't allow all fluids to warm up evenly by circulating (gearbox, diff fluid).
  9. Personally i'd look 04/05, updated interior so same as hawk. But lets go back a step, is it a daily or a weekend toy? o also whats your budget?
  10. 2.0 are fine on the main, 2.5 swapped to crappy pistons as well as some other shortcuts, such as head studs, map etc. but not everyone one fails. It's just a higher percentage than other engine types get I hear lots of reasons for failure sprouted on the 2.5's but simply put i don't think there is a single cause, some blow head gaskets, some blow ring lands. standard and moded 2.5's fail, block flexing etc etc but there doesn't seem to be a hard or fast rule. just case of your lucky or unlucky.

So to put an end to the whole argument, Yes you can buy blouch turbo's direct from blouch. Can you buy them in the spec of the SC series, no you can't. It's as simple as that. You can buy cheaper turbos, but you wont get the same performance. Next you'll be claiming a syvecs is the same as an alcateh i expect pmsl

You need to get your facts straight before you start firing off.
  16. Not really sure where you get your info from kershaw but it's not accurate, the the sc turbos arnt off the shelf blouch units. They are based on them but then modified to clinics spec.
  17. Didn't take it that way so no worries, was more a comment as to the difference :) How much you want to spend very much depends on budget and what you want from it.
  18. Blouch made, custom billet design core Slight differences can make a massive difference to performance.
