  1. Want to get a set of these made up, is there a vector file or such like I can send the company?
  2. Wotcha and welcome - great looking motor, feel free to start a project thread to share your progress 👍
  3. New battery in - first night of alarm not going off overnight.... monitoring will continue
  4. yes it would but from what I remember it is not always clear the code points to that - have you got the battery on charge at the moment to try again? I know mine currently has a duff battery (new one on way) and if it has not kept enough charge it will crank but not fire and then eventually just have the starter motor relay rattling
  5. That does seem low for batt voltage - did you knock teh crank sensor when adjusting the timing?
  6. Wotcha and welcome - great looking motor 👍
  7. Wotcha and welcome, as above and keep a camera handy 😊
  8. Got a cobra on my RX and it is deep without being intrusive good quality as well - would buy the brand again
  9. Wotcha and welcome - there is less than a second between my Auto and sport shift option 0-60 as they both have the same gear ratio ultimately the sport shift just means I can hang into the gear longer, was looking at getting the column paddles and loom for that as well as I want some auto mirror loom adaptors from this JDM site so was thinking why not...
  10. varies in length use an oil when it is a bit longer (When I think about it) not quite at the Million ways to die in the west Moustachery stage
  11. Wotcha and welcome Tim - I believe from memory it is the WRX you need not the STI - there is a thread on the forum about it. There are a few shops that strip and service subaru's, weither they will ship I do not know - Pole Position is one I know of, is it not possible to source a JDM model or one from Australia or is the shipping the same?
  12. Booked in for the airbag and brake leak recall checks with local dealer, asked about the alarm going off, they reckon it is the battery - particularly as we have just fitted a tracker. Installed is a DM005 which is slightly smaller than the DL005 recommended by the online sites so have ordered a heavy duty item which also supposed to be good for tuned engines with a slightly higher cranking figure.
  13. 13/05 early doors, hading south M5 from about Junc 9 / 10 - looking clean
  14. There was a set of Rotas on FB but I think they went quite quickly
  15. I would have been gutted if I had done that but i always try and take care of my gear, prefer to spend money upgrading and maintaining not repairing - was lucky no-one was in the pit
  16. Wotcha and welcome - Love that colour. I would suggest a remap - not for power but just to match fuelling to the motor and try to avoid risk of ringland failure - you should see gains in the midrange and a slight improvement in fuel economy. When you clean your car get under the rear arches and clean all the muck off that gathers on the lip - this is where a lot of rust bubbles start Other than that 99Ron fuel and decent brake pads 👍
  17. Wotcha and welcome - nice looking piece of kit you have there - I spy beefy brakes up front!
  18. hmmm it is saying you cannot receive messages?? Is your box full?
  19. Will have to keep an eye out for it myself
  20. Yes would be cool if teh former owner was on here - not many in that red
  21. From an MOT point of view it may pass as you can read the letters and numbers from the set distance but from a DVLA perspective I believe only on a old landrover
  22. Yes it has the big disc and 6 pot caliper conversion on the front, standard brembos on rear
