It's just a cable, so could have gone boot end. as far as not working ont he key as well sounds like maybe the latch is playing up? do they still have a gap into the the boot in the center seat?

With the death of the volvo im looking at new daily's. I have the possibility of a 2006 hawk WRX wagon. Engines already been done so don't have to worry about that. But would it be wrong to have 3 scoobs in the family? My mrs's bug sport, my weekend toy Type R and then a dialy Wagon wrx?

Have they actually fixed it? they are onto v4 of the 2.5 and still a dog

Something def not right, while you dont need to rev it all teh way to the redline you should easily get it to 6k

caught the little sh1te, he had about 30 but chucked them all into a hedge just before i grabbed him. only managed to find 3 of mine.

mine got nicked so stick with good old black plastic now

aye diff was miss matching so rear wheels were going at different speed to fronts, quick diff swap and jobs a fish. As far as the ratio being out it needs to be matched perfectly or you'll get issues that will destroy your diff.

Afraid its not, its pure luck. I know cars that have had 2 engines in 15k miles, some that were babied and failed but then also know some that were abused like a redheaded tiwanese hooker and are still going strong.
