As a plumber to me it's a poor design. But when it's not installed the coolant flows either through the turbo and back to the reservoir and radiator, or to the heater matrix, and back to the pump

Scooby Pete
Fitted LED DRL’s today (way too bright for night time 😳), wanted to fit LED fog light bulbs as well it’s a shame the body of the actual LED part was too big to fit through the hole of the reflector 😩 Also fitted some cheesy door lamps someone got me from wish, only double sided tape so easy to remove when I got bored of them.

stuartie
Yeah i have already prepared my self for the hidden tin worm buddy but at least I'll be keeping another classic on the road and it's good to see you're doing the same 👍
savage bulldogs
@Neil looks like you've got your work "cut out " for you there bud , I ended up scrapping my 1st v3 UK turbo due to tin worm 😏 It looked minor rust from the small 10p sized bubble in the paintwork on one arch but inner arches ,sills ,bumper mounts and strutt tops were non existent 🙄 Check the strutt tops while its stripped, as I didn't realise how bad mine was until i removed the boot liners . Good luck with it chap
Neil
Luckily the strut mounts are in one piece it's JUST 🤔 the inner arches, outer arches, sills, bumper mounts and a bit on the rear panel . It's been off road about 18 month so far, only took it off road for a week to sort a bit of a bubble under paint 😱

Newman2213
Remove front caliper, stripped the pistons, seals and split the caliper. I've repainted them black and pink, just waiting on the seal kit for rebuilding.
