Sf5 Ej20g td04. 225bhp ish jdm short ratio box 26-28 urban up to35 mpg long trips since remap. Stealthy as f**k embarrassing most other cars when the mood takes me
  2. Are you going to be using it as a daily ? I'd be inclined to go 5/4. I was just as confused as you to working out best rates, gave up as was even more work on the foz bought a set of shocks & springs instead
  3. I thought mine was o/s when we got it on ramps and mechanic listened her heard it straight away from n/s !
  4. Hi & welcome, feel free to get involved in the forum and post a pic up of your car, is it the metal guide/alternator belt cover your after or the plastic shroud ?
  5. Hmm handheld polisher/wet mop ?
  6. Good doings mate although I reckon you'll be a master at detailing soon with a black car !
  7. Have a look at scoobyparts.com they have a bit of a guide on the bc's and spring rates
  8. As far as I'm aware they are the oem parts so should be ok. Scooby clinic do it for 230 so I guess the other subaru online shops will do a similar price,
  9. Exedy blue box clutch for under 300bhp Exedy pink box for above 300 As for spacilosts in your area I'm of no use sorry
  10. As tidgy said just make sure you get the right spring rates for you, you don't have to get the ones that come with the shocks you can request softer ones and they'll re valve the dampers to suit
  11. As above keep going, must be me but we held a meet in leeds last year 6 people turned up, never seen any of them again or on the forum !
  12. Boo ! Don't suppose you've had a look from underneath ? I can just about reach up and get at mine from below. Again not sure how much other stuff is in the way on yours
  13. Sorry mate I was getting myself confused, these front or rear ?my 2twos at the front are ok at the mo
  14. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13774-1997-Turbo-2000 Here you go mate,
  15. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13920-Wanted:-Classic-Impreza-Turbo-Saloon maybe worth dropping him a pm
  16. That's an !Removed! then, Odd that somone would have fitted a UK spec alarm to an import, you'd think that a key I'd could be read, maybe play dumb and go to a different dealer and say just bought car has key buy need code etc ?
  17. See if you can find someone who's done the rear and if your lucky somone who's done both ends, i'm 19mm front and 22mm rear which like dave says it's more oversteery but that's what I wanted as 99% of road cars are set up to be understeer biased, my front end wanted to carry straight on when pushing on, She now turns in beautifully and if I'm in the mood I can provoke lift off oversteer
  18. Gutted, should only be a 5 min job [emoji35] i'd it the one from turbo to ic or the ic to throttle body ?
  19. stants replied to subdriver's topic in Subaru Legacy Club
Maybe go for newage 4pot upgrade or brembos from an sti. Have a look at godspeed brakes had some competitively priced upgrade kits
  20. Simple mate, pretty much what you described, shouldn't need to change the bearing unless it's noisy ?
  21. Have you managed to get her uk road legal yet ?
  22. Been shopping parked extra wide child bay as had daughter with me and some f***er has still managed to scratch the paintwork i my o/s rear door
  23. stants replied to subdriver's topic in Subaru Legacy Club
Have you got two or four pots on at the mo ? If fours may be worth just upgrading the lines discs and pads
  24. Ah yes I forgot you have a mass of extra vac lines turbo etc etc, Have a look at tlags build thread as he's had his engine out may give you more idea
